We are a diverse, enthusiastic and growing congregation serving Jesus Christ right on the doorstep of our nation’s capital.
Our purpose is to magnify God by witnessing to the lost, winning them to Him, developing them into active, mature, Christlike members, and equipping them for the work of the ministry. Our vision is to set our communities ablaze with a passion for Jesus Christ. God has been at work in this church since 1821 and He is not finished with us yet. The future of the First Baptist Church Rockville is as bright as the promises of God.
